S Series
The S series of 6 phase alternators offers incredible output in a compact and durable package. Highly efficient, these units use less horsepower than conventional 3 phase alternators. 12 diodes, twin rectifier plates and outstanding airflow ensure long service life, even in severe conditions. The 240-amp model offers the best balance between peak output, and output at engine idle RPM.
Installation notes:
This alternator comes with our tried-and-true RVC Bypass 2pin plug(P103) and a single 4pin(P101) harness that needs a simple 12v switched source to operate. By avoiding the computer-controlled voltage you are returned with higher, more consistent voltage which can be beneficial for both audio and high-performance needs.
Please contact us for different pulley size options if you have modified your crank pulley diameter and/or RPM limit to ensure you get the most performance for your application.
