Why would you need this booster harness?
You're a car audio enthusiast with LOTS of added car audio components and you have deleted the OEM under hood battery and have a dedicated Lithium chemistry-based battery that needs to be charged higher than standard AGM batteries. A well-known battery type for this higher charging is the CMAX type. Please consult your battery manufacturer for proper charging ranges BEFORE purchasing. This version of Toyota/Lexus 4pin booster harness will yield a 15.5 to 15.9 voltage range. Please note that this range is dependent on factors such as alternator brand, type, installation quality, current electrical integrity and operating temperature. Voltage is not a SET number, it reactive based on those factors.

Quick Example:
Say you have 5,000 watts of amplifier power. You're currently charging in the high 13's-low 14's voltage. While being somewhat generic on numbers for this situation, say that amplifier(s) will need around 360-370 amps of output to fully support making that 5,000 watts. Plug in our booster harness for 14.5-14.9 volts and now you only need around 330-335 amps of output to make the same power. Thats a nice 350-450 wattage bump from a simple plug and play harness!
