This newly introduced CAST version of our already eye-catching Billet versions packs the same modern 6 phase hairpin technology but in a more budget friendly and paintable case! Great for applications where you need the 200 amps at idle and 400+ amps at cruising but want to color coordinate or contrast your engine theme/look.
This 400-amp version will use a 46mm 9 rib pulley. We do this in order to facilitate multiple or custom fitments. This gives the customer the ultimate in adjustability for custom applications where a few mm's here and there add up to where you can achieve perfect belt alignment for adequate grip.
Since these CS144 style fitments are so popular and universal, we also include a universal adapter bolt/nut/spacer for ease of installations or variations in OEM and/or custom fabricated mounting brackets.
Please ensure you're using a high-quality belt, a very rigid alternator bracket with support and have at least an OEM amount of belt wrap to get the most of out of this high output alternator.
This alternator will come with a P101 harness that only needs a 12v key on/off source to operate. If higher than 14.8 voltage is desired, please see our wire harness section for voltage boosting plugs for easy and reliable voltage boosting up to 16+ volts.
