Heavy Duty Alternator Stud Wire Boot Terminal Cover (Red)

Often overlooked as an installation accessory, this heavy-duty silicone-based alternator output stud cover makes a great finishing touch to a high quality Mechman Alternator installation. 

This cover will work with 4-gauge and up to large 1/0-gauge style car audio terminals/wire with a great snug fit keeping any outside debris or contaminates out of one of the most important electrical connections on your vehicle.  This is also a great safety feature as it eliminates accidental sparking from watches, tools or even other wiring that may be in the area if you need to be servicing other items while under the hood. 

Works with all Mechman and aftermarket alternators that are either side/top mount stud or rear output from 170-amps all the way to our 400-amp offerings.

For some cable sizes, the wire entry section of this boot can be trimmed to accommodate slightly oversized cables with thicker wire jacketing.
